Elton John

Sir Elton Hercules John, CBE, is one of the most highly acclaimed and successful solo artists of all time. Across his five-decade career, he has achieved over 38 gold and 27 platinum or multi-platinum albums, 29 consecutive Top 40 hits, and more than 250 million records sold worldwide. He holds the record for the biggest selling single of all time, 'Candle In The Wind 1997' as well as the record of 71 entries on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. Elton has also written the music for stage and screen successes Billy Elliot: The Musical, Elton John and Tim Rice's AIDA, and The Lion King, which was recently named the highest-grossing stage show or film release in the world.

Since his career began in 1969 Elton has played nearly 4,000 concerts worldwide in over 80 countries and currently averages over 100 concerts a year. The Million Dollar Piano, his second residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas (after The Red Piano), will continue through 2017.

Elton’s latest studio album, 2016's Wonderful Crazy Night, features new songs written by Elton and his longtime lyricist Bernie Taupin. The first single, 'Looking Up', extended his record for the most appearances on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart to 71. Wonderful Crazy Night is Elton’s 33rd studio album, which, combined with his four live albums, five film soundtracks, and over a dozen compilations, makes him one of popular music’s most prolific recording artists.
